In the Engineering Automation Center of Excellence, the Fraunhofer Institutes in OWL (IOSB-INA in Lemgo and IEM in Paderborn) are taking up the technology push in the field of artificial intelligence in order to realize advanced AI solutions for product development and industrial production technology together with the research institutions of the Technical University of Ostwestfalen-Lippe, the Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences, the University of Bielefeld and the University of Paderborn as well as companies in the region and beyond. As a lighthouse and platform, the center focuses specifically on the automation of development processes in order to significantly increase process competence, speed and efficiency.
