Biere Bakery has an excellent reputation as a bread roll sommelier. The bakery wants to make its service just as excellent as its products. To this end, the bakery is working on an intelligent solution in the KiDiHa project.
THE NEED
The “Intelligent Shop Counter” project aims to develop an innovative system that simplifies the recording of baked goods in the sales process.
THE VISION
In the long term, the aim is to make personal sales more efficient and strengthen customer loyalty. In the background, software systems analyze sales figures in real time and automatically switch on offers in the store. The systems are also able to predict the sales figures of the goods for the coming days, providing important data for the required number of baked goods. This makes it possible to avoid surpluses and ensure resource-saving production for companies.
THE SPECIAL FEATURES
The unique selling point is the focus on the customer relationship. In contrast to other approaches that aim to optimize the sales process, the customer’s interaction in the sale is placed at the center and further intensified.
THE CHALLENGES
One challenge is the integration of the system with the existing POS system, which must enable the connection of an external system.
