Together and across sectors for circular economy in East Westphalia-Lippe
The successfully established projects CirQuality OWL, Lippe zirkulär, Smart Recyling Factory and the CUNA production in the SmartFactoryOWL form the large and cross-industry experience background of the CirQualityOWL plus project team.
Transformative Alliances
We bring together experts, drivers and practitioners to implement the transition to a circular economy ‒ in transformative alliances. Based on current challenges of the partners, we jointly develop circular concepts and test practical processes. The formation of transformative alliances is at the heart of the project, because we want to bring together actors from business, science, politics, administration and society in order to advance the necessary transformation towards climate neutrality in general and CE in particular. With this transformation ecosystem, we bring dynamism to the development of new CE applications in the OWL region.
Specific challenges of the Circular Economy
We focus on current challenges in order to jointly develop concrete solutions and concepts for the successful CE transformation in cross-sectoral alliances. From the previous projects, the following challenges were selected for the start:
- Qualification of future specialists and managers for CE
- Solutions for circular supply chain management (SSCM)
- Building transition to circular thinking and management
- Waste and circular economy of the future for OWL
