The cooperative of 10 partners at SmartFactoryOWL demonstrates how innovation and sustainability can harmonize, jointly operating a plastic production for CUNA brand products.
Since 2021, cups made from a bio-based plastic have been produced at SmartFactoryOWL using a sustainable and AI-supported injection molding process. What’s special: Not only is the material used for production, derived from renewable resources, sustainable, but also the recycling loop specifically organized by CUNA.
